What is a Neighborhood Area?
A Neighborhood Area is a group of community members who meet to learn what is happening in the area and to share concerns with the area residents. Working together we make a difference. We are called CHASEN (Citrus Heights Area Seven Eight Nine).
Where is Our Area 7/8/9?
The CHASEN area is bounded by Sunrise Blvd. on the West; Placer County Line on the North; Orangevale and Fair Oaks to the East; Greenback Lane to the South.
Monthly Meetings
We have monthly meetings held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Anyone is encouraged to join. For our agendas and meeting notes click here. Next meeting is May 20, 2025 from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m.
Open Board Positions
Be informed, meet new people and businesses, help influence and improve our community; Serve on the CHASEN Board of Directors.
This May nominations and elections will be held for Elected Officer opening positions; President, Secretary and Director(s)-at-Large. Minimal time needed; meetings the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays each month and a few yearly events such as the National Night Out Dinner Festivities, December Giving Tree Event and a few volunteer days. This rewarding volunteer participant opportunity may be just what you’ve been looking for. Come and be a valuable part of your city neighborhood area! Nominees must reside in area 7-8-9 and be at least 18 years of age. Terms are 2 years.
